We are now looking for Pipefitters for our unique production at one of the world's most modern shipyards. In your role as a Pipefitter, your primary responsibilities will focus on the manufacturing and assembly of piping systems for the new construction, conversion, and maintenance of submarines and surface ships.

We utilize welding methods such as TIG and orbital welding. The piping systems involve materials such as stainless steel, copper-nickel, copper, titanium, and carbon steel. This makes the work highly varied and provides excellent opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional expertise.

To succeed as a Pipefitter with us, we look for someone who is cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Your Profile

Requirements

• Upper secondary education in HVAC or equivalent.
• Knowledge of reading drawings and schematics, as well as good knowledge of materials and consumables.
• Basic computer literacy.

Merits

• Experience with brazing, TIG welding, and holding a welding license.
• Previous experience machining materials, including drilling, threading, bending, and cutting.
• Knowledge of fasteners and measurement techniques.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
