We are now looking for a designer in road, land, and water supply design for our growing infrastructure team who wants to continue their professional development with us.

Job Description

As a land and water supply designer in the engineering firm's infrastructure team, you will work as a consultant based in our office in Karlskrona. We are a small team of experienced colleagues who are happy to support each other when needed.

In this role, you will work on preliminary planning for detailed plans, investigating land and water supply facilities for new buildings and industries, as well as designing streets and water supply lines in new development areas. You will drive your assignments independently with a large mandate.

The assignments may come from municipal, state, or private clients. They can be at various stages and include everything from feasibility studies, investigations, system documents, tender documents, and construction documents. Regardless of the assignment, there is experience in the company with similar projects, and we are happy to share our knowledge.

The work is primarily Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30. You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work. It is the project's needs, combined with your conditions, that set the limits.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience working independently as a designer. The formal requirements for the position are:

• At least three years of experience in design or project management.
• Good understanding of the construction process with associated industry and regulatory requirements.
• Good experience in document management in projects and experience with AMA and specification parts.
• Good experience working with design tools such as Autocad Civil 3D and/or Novapoint.
• A civil engineering degree, a three-year construction engineering degree, or a two-year YH education with relevant focus.
• Driving license B.

It is advantageous if you have experience working as a consultant, client, or contractor, as well as if you have worked in the early stages of the construction process, with feasibility studies or tender documents. Experience with assignments for both private, municipal, and state clients is also a plus.
