RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Team Leader, you are a representative of Karlskrona Municipality and a clear role model in your daily work. You are responsible for leading, planning, and distributing work within your area of responsibility in a way that promotes engagement, participation, and a good working environment.

The work focuses on the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the municipality's parks, green areas, and forest areas. Your knowledge and experience in the green sector, as well as your understanding of nature values, are a crucial foundation for the role.

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Daily operations, planning, and follow-up of activities
• Personnel responsibility and working environment issues
• Budgeting and financial follow-up
• Administration and documentation related to operations

You are also part of the department's emergency response organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid B-class driver's license
• Good computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• We are looking for you who have relevant education for the position
• Minimum two-year vocational education with a focus on gardening/horticulture, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience with personnel issues, administration, and financial management
• You have documented experience working as a leader or manager and are accustomed to leading, distributing, and following up on work. If you also have leadership training, we view this as a merit.
• Knowledge of Geosecma

Education & Certifications

• Work on the road (marking officer)
• Chainsaw license
• Brush cutter license
• Wheel loader C2
• Green card (environmental certification)

Experience & Competence

• Experience in emergency response work, both winter and summer periods
• Experience in developing, implementing, and following up maintenance plans
• Interest in and experience with evaluating and developing working methods
• Good machine knowledge, to be able to identify how machine usage can streamline work and improve results

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 After agreement.
• Working hours: Daytime. On-call duty is included in the role.
