At Saab Naval in Karlskrona, we work right in the heart of the Swedish marine industry. Here, ship sections weighing hundreds of tons are moved, platforms are slid into place with millimeter precision, and ships are docked in a business where safety, technology, and teamwork are at the center.

We are now looking for more employees to join our Heavy Lifting team.

This is not an ordinary logistics job.

This is work where advanced technology, careful planning, and precision meet raw strength and large dimensions – every day.

Your role

As an employee in Heavy Lifting, you work with complex lifting and transport operations within the shipbuilding industry. You become an important part of the operation where every task requires focus, responsibility, and collaboration.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Heavy lifting with cranes and other lifting equipment
• Transport with SPMT/multi-wheeler
• Precise positioning of ship sections
• Sliding platforms and equipment into ship sections
• Moving large structures within production
• Participation in ship launching and docking
• Collaboration with docking teams, production, and project management

The work often takes place in large and technically advanced projects where safety, communication, and problem-solving are crucial for success.

No day is the same as the other. One day you work on the millimeter alignment of a ship section – the next day you participate in ship docking or carry out heavy transports through the shipyard.

Who we are looking for

We believe that you thrive in a practical and technical environment where the work places high demands on precision, safety, and teamwork.

You enjoy challenges, take responsibility, and like solving problems together with others. You have a safety mindset and understand the importance of planning the work correctly from the start.

We are looking for someone with experience in, for example:

• Crane operation
• Heavy lifting
• Heavy transport
• Forklift operation
• Industrial, port, or shipyard work

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• SPMT/multi-wheeler
• Safe lifting
• Forklift license
• Telehandler/Aerial work platform license
• Hot work
• Fall protection training
• Reading technical drawings
