Your Role

We are now looking for a Surface Treatment Specialist for one of Europe's most modern surface treatment facilities and one of the world's most modern shipyards.

In your role as a Surface Treatment Specialist, you will be involved in both new constructions and maintenance work on surface and underwater vessels.

To succeed in your role with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Main Responsibilities

• Blasting
• Spray painting with low- and high-pressure sprayers
• Painting

Your Profile

Requirements

• Upper secondary education with a practical focus, such as painter or similar
• Experience with blasting or painting
• Experience working with low and high-pressure sprayers
• Experience painting with two-component paint
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Computer literacy

Merits

• Experience with marine vessels
• Thermoset plastic training
• Lift operator certificate
• Fall protection training

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
