Your Role

We are now looking for a Surface Treatment Specialist for one of Europe's most modern surface treatment facilities and one of the world's most modern shipyards.

In your role as a Surface Treatment Specialist, you will be involved in both new constructions and maintenance work on above-water and underwater vessels.

To succeed in your role with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Main Responsibilities

• Blasting
• Spray painting with low- and high-pressure spray guns
• Painting

Your Profile

Requirements

• Upper secondary education with a practical focus, e.g., painter or similar
• Experience with blasting or painting
• Experience working with low- and high-pressure spray guns
• Experience painting with two-component paint
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at great heights
• Computer literate

Merits

• Experience with marine vessels
• Fiberglass/GRP training
• Work at height certificate (Liftkort)
• Fall protection training

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
