Construction Manager Infrastructure – Karlskrona
To our growing team in Karlskrona, we are now looking for a Construction Manager who is driven by developing tomorrow's infrastructure and wishes to continue their professional development with us.
Job Description
As a Construction Manager at Ingenjörsfirman, you will work with site follow-up, coordination with operations and production, economics, control work, scheduling, as well as quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety issues. You will lead inspiring infrastructure projects and play a key role in their success. Your days with us will be filled with challenges and opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
You will work as a consultant and become part of an experienced team that readily supports each other when needed. Your base will be in Karlskrona.
In this role, you will work as a Construction Manager on various types of construction projects, such as large industrial building projects, development areas, water and sewage projects, treatment plants, as well as streets and roads.
Your Responsibilities:
- Construction and quality management.
- Follow-up on time, budget, and quality.
- Estimates and cost assessments.
- Collaboration with internal departments, external parties, and clients to ensure smooth and successful projects.
- Development and implementation of technical solutions that meet project requirements.
- Technical evaluations and analyses in accordance with current standards and regulations.
- Development of existing and new assignments.
Work is primarily performed Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30, and you have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work within the framework of what your projects require.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who have several years of experience in construction management within infrastructure. Formal requirements for the position are:
- At least five years of experience in construction management or equivalent competence regarding work within infrastructure.
- Good understanding of the construction process, how work is carried out in production, and associated industry and authority requirements.
- Good experience with document management in projects and good knowledge of AMA Anläggning and contract law such as ABT06 and AB04.
- Training in BAS-P/U.
- Category B driver's license.
Merits
- Experience in consultancy, client, or contractor roles.
- Experience in economics and budgeting.
- Experience working on water and sewage (VA) projects.
- Experience in paving projects.
- Excavation supervisor training – Safe Excavation.
- We view relevant education positively, such as a three-year civil engineering degree, but it is not a requirement.
