We are now looking for a construction manager for our growing infrastructure team who is passionate about bridges, quays, or other heavy constructions and who wants to continue their professional development with us.

Job Description

As a construction manager at Ingenjörsfirman, you will work on inspiring infrastructure projects and be responsible for site monitoring, coordination between operations and production, finance, control work, scheduling, quality, environmental, and occupational safety issues. Your technical expertise and passion for quality will be crucial in meeting our clients' high expectations.

You will work as a consultant based in Karlskrona and become part of an experienced team where we support each other, and we are now looking for a driven and competent colleague to complement our department.  

The role will strengthen an existing project where several of your future colleagues are currently engaged. The work is safety classified and requires security clearance.

Your responsibilities:

• Construction and quality management.

• Monitoring of time, budget, and quality.

• Calculations and cost assessments.

• Collaboration with internal departments, external parties, and clients to ensure smooth and successful projects.

• Development and implementation of technical solutions that meet project requirements.

• Technical evaluations and analyses in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Development of existing and new assignments.

The work primarily takes place Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30. You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work. Here, it is the project's needs, combined with your conditions, that set the limits.

Who we are looking for

You have several years of experience in independently planning and leading infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in construction management or equivalent competence in, for example, quay or bridge construction.

• Certification Concrete Class 1.

• Good understanding of the construction process and regulatory/industry requirements.

• Good experience in document management in projects, AMA construction, and contract law.

• Experience in finance, budgeting, and procurement.

• Driving license B.

Meritorious:

• Certificate for underwater casting.

• Experience in consulting, client, or contractor roles.

• Experience in quality work.

• Bas-P/U

• Training as excavation responsible (Safe Excavation).

We view relevant education positively, but it is not a requirement.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who enjoys handling a range of challenges, is flexible, and used to meeting clients at various levels. You have strong technical competence, are goal-oriented, and deliver with high quality. Your experience in leading and organizing groups and your ability to understand people create security, drive, and engagement in the projects.
