Do you want to combine technical sustainability expertise with business development and sales? We are looking for you who want to develop and sell tomorrow's sustainability services within the construction and industrial sectors!
About the role:
As a Sustainability Engineer at Kiwa, you play a key role in both business and delivery. The position is split, with 50% of the time focused on the market, business, and sales, while the remaining 50% is dedicated to operational delivery and production of sustainability services. In this role, you will work closely with our customers, sales organization, and colleagues in both Sweden and globally within Kiwa. You will become part of a global network of sustainability experts where a strong and well-established offering is already in place. This role is an important next step in scaling up and further developing our local presence – with full support from Kiwa’s international competence, methods, and tools. You will contribute to the development of new services and offerings, acting as a representative for Kiwa in external contexts, such as customer events or seminars.
Your responsibilities:
- Sell and market Kiwa’s sustainability services with a focus on: EPD, LCA, R<THiNK (calculation tool for environmental and climate impact of construction products), and services related to CPR.
- Participate in customer meetings, tendering processes, and business dialogues.
- Guide customers in interpreting and applying sustainability requirements and regulations.
- Work with regulations and standards related to CPR.
- Ensure technical quality, documentation, and delivery according to current requirements.
- Contribute to method development and knowledge building within the team.
The role is based at our office in Karlskrona, with opportunities for hybrid work. Travel and overnight stays are part of the job.
Do you have what it takes?
This role suits you if you enjoy working with both technology, business, and customer dialogue – and if you want to contribute to growth and high technical quality. We expect you to be a communicative and structured person with a business mindset.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a university degree (or equivalent) in sustainability, environment, construction, energy, or a related field.
- Has experience with – or a strong interest in – EPD, LCA, and sustainability assessments.
- Has a good understanding of regulations related to CPR and construction products (or the willingness to quickly learn this).
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.
- Has a valid driver’s license (Category B).
What can you expect from us in return?
Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting. This is thanks to our employees who, through their engagement and knowledge, contribute security and sustainability to our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees' development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, your competence will continuously develop as part of Kiwa! At Kiwa, the team comes before the individual, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!
- Secure and stable employment – Kiwa has collective agreements.
- Generous wellness allowance.
- Reimbursement for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis.
- A time bank so you can take time off when you want – not just on public holidays.
- The opportunity to join Kiwa’s ski trip together with approximately 100 wonderful colleagues.
