Ronneby Miljö & Teknik AB was established in 1999 and is a municipal company wholly owned by Ronneby Municipality.

We manage electricity, heating, water, sewage, waste management, fiber optic networks, and broadband. Currently, around 120 people work in the operations. The annual turnover is approximately 300 million SEK.

Now you have the chance to join us! We are looking for an experienced construction worker who wants to become part of our central transport function. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and new installation of pipeline networks within electricity, fiber, water/sewage (VA), and district heating/cooling. This is a unique opportunity to help develop and maintain vital infrastructure in Ronneby Municipality.

Job Responsibilities

As a construction worker, you will belong to the waste management department but work broadly across the entire Environmental Technology division, handling both large and small projects. The work is varied and takes place either in a team with a machine operator or independently.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Excavation and earthworks
• Laying of electricity and water/sewage pipelines as well as district heating pipes
• Repair and maintenance of existing networks
• Reading drawings and simple setting out
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and colleagues

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in construction work within electricity, fiber, water/sewage, and/or district heating
• Relevant training: Work on Roads Step 1–3, EBR
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Category B driver's license
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Category BE and/or C driver's license
• Relevant training: ESA Basic, Mobile Work Platform, Chainsaw A+B
