7 Steel Nordic Recycling is part of the value chain that produces Europe's most environmentally friendly reinforcement steel. Our mission is to collect and refine used iron and metal scrap from industries, agriculture, demolition sites, and other scrap dealers, sending it to our steel plant in Norway. There, steel scrap equivalent to two Eiffel Towers is recycled every week! This steel is then processed within the group into various reinforcement solutions, creating a circular value chain and contributing to a sustainable society.

About the role

As a scrap processor, your main task will be to process iron scrap from larger to smaller pieces. You will primarily use a material handler but will also utilize other tools to complete the job. The work is outdoors, so you must enjoy working in fresh air. The role involves periods of standing still and handling heavier materials, requiring good physical fitness.

Requirements for the position:

• Experience handling machinery and heavy materials.
• Enduring and accustomed to physical work.
• Valid B-class driver's license.
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.

Merits:

• Welding experience.
• Previous experience working with iron and knowledge of different materials.
• Counterbalance forklift license, wheel loader, and possibly excavator.
• Industrial background.
• Hot work certification.
