ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Verification Engineer with our client, you play a central role in planning, leading, and coordinating verification activities throughout the entire verification phase. The role combines practical technical work with planning and coordination, with approximately 60% of working time spent in verification environments and on-site, for example, in test facilities, on board ships at the quay, or out at sea.

The work includes, among other things, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), verification of systems in test environments or rigs, installation checks, commissioning and functional tests, as well as Sea Acceptance Tests where systems are tested and evaluated under real conditions at sea. Documentation and handling of verification protocols are also an important part of the role.

You are responsible for ensuring that systems are installed correctly, meet set requirements, and function according to specifications throughout the entire verification process. This means you drive the verification work from planning and execution to analysis and final approval together with the customer.

In the role, you work closely with verification managers, production, system engineers, and customers. You have a coordinating function where you ensure that resources, equipment, and activities are planned and carried out in an efficient and structured manner.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have an engineering degree in naval engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
• Have at least 1 year of relevant experience from a similar position in production, testing, product development, verification, or similar.
• Have a strong technical interest and wish to develop within verification and marine systems

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience from marine operations, shipbuilding industry, defense industry, or other technologically advanced industries
• Have experience with ship systems or understanding of marine systems
• Have worked as a test engineer, verification engineer, or system engineer or similar

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by us at Friday.
