About the position

Hello, I am a woman in my 60s living in Ystad with a young dog, a golden retriever.

I would appreciate help with transfers (I am wheelchair-bound), toilet visits, showering, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and light gardening. Walking the dog is also part of the routine.

My interests include short walks with the dog and sitting at the computer for a while. I also enjoy playing cards and usually need to rest during the day. When the weather is nice, I enjoy sitting outdoors.

About you

I am looking for someone with experience in the assistant profession or within healthcare, preferably with experience working with people with disabilities. You must be dog-friendly as I have a golden retriever who is my great interest. A large part of my day is dedicated to the dog, and some dog training will be included in the work.

As an assistant, I hope you are flexible with both times and tasks. It is a plus if you have a bit of "thick skin," are not afraid to get involved and help where needed, while remaining calm and adapting to my pace as I get brain fatigue easily.

I am looking for someone available for extra shifts as needed, as well as summer substitutes. The working hours are 08:15–16:45 and 17:00–21:15. It sometimes happens that you work both shifts on the same day (with a 30-minute unpaid break) or one of the shifts, depending on absence in the work group.

Requirements

• Not allergic or afraid of dogs.
• Experience within personal assistance or healthcare.
