Job Description

The Social Services Department is now seeking a personal assistant to work with a girl who will soon turn 11. The girl lives with her parents and two siblings. The position is permanent, contingent on a good match between the employee and the user.

The workload is approximately 80%, and the schedule is currently being finalized. In Boden Municipality, the right to full-time employment applies, meaning you can perform part of your working hours elsewhere if you wish to achieve full-time status.

Responsibilities

The girl needs support and help with most things to manage her daily life. The job involves assisting her with her needs for support and help during school and leisure time, including but not limited to:

• Personal care
• Mobility and transfers
• Training
• Household chores
• Leisure activities

It is important that you are child-loving, enjoy engaging with the child, and are willing to be yourself. The work schedule covers days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone with well-developed empathy, a good understanding and respect for an individual's difficulties and opportunities, as well as respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination. Personal suitability is of great importance.

It is an advantage if you have studied the Nursing Program or have training as a personal assistant and/or experience from the profession.
