About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the client. We are looking for someone with enormous patience, sensitivity to non-verbal communication, and the ability to give the client 100% focus and attention. You are professional in difficult situations and ensure the creation of a calm environment with minimal stress and noise.

The position requires that you have:

• Previous experience with challenging behavior
• Low-affective handling (calm and measured approach)
• Experience with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and picture supports

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand with varying working hours during the day and evening, on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.
