Previous experience in the field is meritorious but not a requirement. However, you must have a desire to create quality of life for other people. Working as a substitute means you work on an hourly basis and step in when needed when staff is absent.

We are in an exciting time with a focus on ombudsman roles, further education according to the Elderly Care Lift, and welfare technology. Our goal is to create modern and value-creating home care centers to meet the challenges we face.

The operations should support a meaningful life where users can live under safe conditions, built on respect for self-determination and integrity.

We are now looking for substitutes who want to work through the summer.

⭐ Job Responsibilities

What does it mean to work as a substitute?

Once employed as a substitute, you will receive oral general information from the unit manager/coordinator and an introduction at the workplace together with permanent staff who will familiarize you with the tasks. The number of introduction sessions may vary.

You enter your availability in our substitute system, Time Care Pool. The operations run seven days a week, day and night, and we prefer that you indicate availability for at least three shifts per week.

In home care, we work with planned visits in the form of care and service efforts. Some tasks you perform independently, but colleagues are always nearby if you need help. Other tasks are performed together with colleagues. Your duties include providing good, service-oriented treatment towards users, relatives, colleagues, and other partners.

You will:

• Provide support and assistance with mobility, showering, toilet visits, and dressing/undressing.
• Serve meals and perform some cooking.
• Supervise, relieve, and escort.
• Cleaning, laundry, walking, and digital shopping.

As a substitute, you must complete and pass a medication training course provided by the municipality to be granted medication delegation.

⭐ Qualifications

We are looking for you who are interested in working in home care. Previous experience in healthcare is meritorious.

To work in home care, a B-class driver's license or the ability to cycle is required.

Great importance will be attached to personal qualities.

How does our recruitment process look?
