We are now looking for you who are an experienced payroll specialist and want to take overall responsibility for our payroll processing – while simultaneously leading the work to establish Omegapoint's future in-house solution.

This is a business-critical role where you combine strategic change management with operational responsibility. You will have a central position in the company and a clear mandate to drive development forward.

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period and is located in our nice office at Vasagatan 16 in Stockholm. Start towards the end of summer or as agreed.

Your role with us

In this role, you are responsible for building and establishing Omegapoint's internal payroll function. You project-manage the bringing in-house of the group's payroll processing from outsourcing to a cost-effective and scalable solution, while also being responsible for and personally performing the operational payroll work for our Swedish companies, especially in the build-up phase where you are initially the only one in the function.

You work closely with Finance, HR, management, and other parts of the organization, acting as an expert and advisor within the payroll area.

The role is independent, hands-on, and involves significant personal responsibility – but also the opportunity to influence working methods, structure, and the future organization.

What you will work with

Establish and develop the payroll function

  • Project-manage the bringing in-house of the group's payroll processing
  • Map current processes, costs, and risks
  • Finalize requirements for payroll systems and integrations
  • Act as the main contact for system vendors

Operational payroll processing and quality

  • Work operationally with the payroll process from start to finish, including payroll processing, quality assurance, and disbursement
  • Ensure correct, efficient, and quality-assured payroll processing
  • Document processes, routines, and internal controls

Pensions, insurance, and structure

  • Be responsible for pensions and insurances
  • In the long term, lead the procurement of pension solutions
  • Contribute to structure and standardization in the area

Collaboration and development

  • Support HR with questions related to HR master data
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, and management on payroll-related issues
  • Develop proposals for future organization and resource needs

Your background

We are looking for you who have broad competence in the payroll area and are used to working in change.

  • At least 7 years of experience in qualified payroll work
  • Post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or HR
  • Very good knowledge of the entire payroll process and relevant legislation
  • Experience with system implementation, system change, or major change projects
  • Experience with requirement specification against system vendors
  • Experience with pensions and insurances
  • Very good system proficiency and understanding of integrations
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have experience with outsourcing and insourcing of payroll processes.
