At Norlandia Preschools, we are looking for you who want to work as a preschool teacher at our preschool, Kristallen, in Alingsås. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We would like you to be easy to collaborate with and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to the children's needs.

Qualifications and personal attributes

• Educated preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• Good knowledge of English, primarily spoken.
• You are well acquainted with the curriculum's goals regarding teaching and learning.
• You have experience working with and leading systematic quality work at the group level.
• You have good knowledge of Office365.
• Previous experience in preschool operations is highly meritorious.
• You take responsibility for your work and follow the rules and laws of working life.

Additional information

• Employment type: Temporary position for 1 year with the possibility of extension.
• Scope: 100%
• Working hours: Daytime, some occasions may be in the evening (e.g., APT).
• Start date: August 12, 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the record of convictions) is required upon employment.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
