NOTE! Our assignments are suitable for you who are looking for a part-time hourly job alongside studies, part-time work or other employment. We do not offer half-time or full-time positions.

Tasks:

Companionship (hourly employment) As a companion, you enable the individual to participate in society and break the isolation that can result from a disability. This is reduced by the individual, for example, receiving help from a companion to get to and from friends or to participate in culture and club life.

Relief Care (hourly employment) As a relief caregiver, you come home to the family and temporarily take care of the individual to thereby relieve the relatives. The intervention is carried out primarily in the user's home or in its vicinity.

Contact Person (remunerated assignment) The assignment as a contact person means that you should be a fellow human being who can facilitate and support the individual to live an independent life. This by reducing social isolation, stimulating an active leisure time and giving advice in everyday situations. Click here (#) to see a short film about the assignment as a contact person.

Our operations are characterized, among other things, by participation and you work based on the individual's needs. We are therefore looking for you who are receptive and attentive in contact with other people while having the ability to behave professionally based on your assignment. In the assignment, you work alone with the user, so it is important that you are secure in your role.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. No experience is required. You must be at least 18 years old.

To be eligible, you need to present the following two extracts (in unopened envelopes) from the criminal record register:

1. Work with children with disabilities (The extract can be obtained in your digital mailbox)

2. Control of own information in the criminal record register

NOTE! Since several users are in need of companions, relief caregivers and contact persons, recruitment is ongoing.

Within the Care and Elderly Affairs Administration, approximately 3,400 employees work to enable older people and people with disabilities to live an active, social and meaningful life on their own terms. We are responsible, among other things, for the municipality's nursing homes, home care, support for people with disabilities, home healthcare and meeting points for seniors.
