We are looking for an engaged educator to teach the course Occupational Health and Safety at a university college program focused on sustainable production. This assignment suits you if you have extensive experience with occupational health and safety issues in industry, production, or technical operations, and enjoy sharing your knowledge.

About the Assignment

As an educator, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and examination of the Occupational Health and Safety course. The teaching should provide students with knowledge about occupational health legislation, risk management, and safety work within modern industrial operations.

The course covers among other things:

• Systematic Work Environment Management (SWEM)
• Occupational health legislation and regulations
• Risk analysis and risk assessment
• Workplace safety
• Ergonomics and workplace design
• CE marking and relevant standards
• Accident and incident reporting
• Sustainable production from an occupational health perspective
• First aid and safety procedures
• Safety rounds and preventive work environment work

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant university degree or equivalent competence in occupational health, technology, production, or a related field.
• Has several years of practical experience in occupational health and safety work.
• Has good knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulations, and systematic work environment management.
• Has experience with risk analysis and safety work in industrial operations.
• Has pedagogical experience from education, mentoring, or competence development.
• Is confident in planning and delivering teaching for adult students.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience teaching at a university college, university, or in corporate training.
• Certifications or training within the occupational health field.
• Experience with hot work, CE marking, or machine safety.
• Experience in production technology operations.

Scope

The assignment takes place during a defined course period and includes teaching, preparation, examination, and some administration related to the course. Autumn 2026.
