We have an important role and want you to be part of it!

Do you want to make a real difference in children's development and learning?

We are now looking for an engaged and relationship-building special needs educator (specialpedagog) for Dibber's preschools in Örebro.

With us, you will have an important role in creating accessible, inclusive, and equal education where every child has the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites.

About the role

As a special needs educator at Dibber, you work on behalf of the principal to support our preschools in creating accessible learning environments and ensuring that all children's needs for support and special support are met. You collaborate closely with the principal and the work teams in the operations.

You play a central role in developing and adapting teaching and learning environments so that all children can participate in all parts of the education and be given the best possible conditions to achieve the goals of the education.

In your work, you mentor and support educators in their daily work by putting special pedagogical perspectives into practice. You work close to the operations and are available in the children's groups when needs arise. Together with the work teams, you map needs, analyze learning environments, and draw up action plans.

You also collaborate with guardians and external actors to create a whole and continuity regarding the child's development and learning.

Your main tasks:

  • Mentor, support, and coach educators and work teams
  • Observe and follow up on operations and learning environments
  • Support the work with mapping and analyses
  • Draw up action plans together with the principal and staff
  • Participate in conversations with guardians when necessary
  • Collaborate with external actors such as schools, speech therapists, hearing educators, social services, Child Health Center (BVC), habilitation, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP)

We are looking for you who:

  • Are trained as a special needs educator with a preschool teacher license
  • Have experience working with children in need of special support (meritorious)
  • Have good knowledge of special pedagogical working methods, mentoring, and mapping
  • Are confident in using tools and methods based on scientific grounds and proven experience
  • Have good ability to collaborate, build relationships, and create trust
  • Are sensitive, empathetic, and solution-focused
  • Have a genuine commitment to children's development, learning, and right to equal education

We also believe that you are curious, development-oriented, and have an interest in systematic quality work. You have the ability to analyze the needs of the operations, evaluate interventions, and contribute to development and improvement.

We offer you

At Dibber, you have the opportunity to be part of an operation where children's learning, security, and development are at the center. You become part of a team with close collaboration between colleagues and management. Dibber Örebro consists of the preschools Kottebo and Västra Mark heading into the autumn, where we together work to create an inspiring, secure, and developmental education for all children.

Welcome with your application!

We look forward to hearing from you and learning more about how you want to contribute to our children's development and future.
