Do you want to be part of building the country's best leisure activities? We are now looking for a Youth Worker (Fritidsledare) for Hallsberg Municipality's youth club, Romben, for students in grades 4-6. In addition to Romben, the leisure center operations currently include the youth clubs Kuben in central Hallsberg and Cylindern in Pålsboda.

Job Responsibilities

The working hours will primarily be during the day and afternoon at the Romben youth club, as well as conducting break-time activities for middle school students. The duties will include leading activities for visitors, engaging with children in their thoughts and questions, being a secure adult figure, organizing break-time activities for middle school students, and handling some administrative tasks. Working with older teenagers (grades 7-18) at the Kuben youth club may also be relevant, but the main focus will be on the group in grades 4-6.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a positive view of children and young people and who wish to contribute to their development with enthusiasm. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have high social competence that allows you to easily build good relationships and collaborate with both colleagues and external parties.

Furthermore, you have several years of experience working with children and young people, which gives you a secure foundation for the role. You are self-reliant, take significant personal responsibility, and thrive in a role where you need to be flexible and handle irregular working hours in a fast-paced and changing environment.

As a person, you are team-oriented while also having the ability to work independently when required. • Education as a Youth Worker (Fritidsledare) or other adequate education
• Category B driver's license
