The Department of Children and Education covers preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school centers, upper secondary school, and adult education. Currently, just over 200 employees work in our department.

We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering secure care and stimulating learning environments. We actively work with guided interaction and base our approach on the children's and students' prerequisites and their personal abilities.

Hidinge School is a F-6 school with approximately 340 students and 35 employees. The school is located at Lanna, about 20 km outside Örebro. The school is organized into four work teams; two work teams in F-3, 4-6, and the after-school center. Our school strives for high participation and a good work environment where a holistic approach is prioritized.

Job Responsibilities

Are you a qualified teacher with a strong interest in learning and development in primary school? Then we think you should apply for the position of teacher in F-3 with us.

In this role, you work to ensure that children feel secure and receive support regardless of where they are on the development curve, and that you collaborate with colleagues for the best results. You work systematically to create security, well-being, and development through participation at all levels.

As a class teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, both individually and in collaboration with colleagues in your work team. You work according to current routines and regulatory documents to ensure that students reach as far as possible in their development in all areas. You collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a secure and developmental learning environment. You are responsible for meetings with guardians, development talks, creating development plans, and assessment.

You work based on the individual student's needs and actively work with the school's value base. We are keen that the work is carried out with the help of guided interaction (ICDP), formative assessment, combined with a positive and solution-focused approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A primary school teacher degree and teaching license with eligibility to teach in grades F-3, or have a degree and are waiting for a license.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• Teaching in primary school
• Guided interaction (ICDP).

We are looking for you who are engaged in your assignment and driven by leading students in their development, both academically and socially. We expect you to be a person who meets students individually and spreads a positive atmosphere in your interaction with them.

You are a clear leader in the classroom who strives to provide conditions for all students to have the opportunity to develop as far as possible. As a person, we see that you are clear, sensitive, organized, open to different working methods, and flexible in collaboration with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
