We at Tegnérskolan are now looking for a Leisure Time Centre Teacher (Fritidshem). About the position
As a Leisure Time Centre Teacher at Tegnérskolan, you will be responsible for planning and leading the pedagogical work at the leisure time centre, where you will have a great opportunity to continue driving the development of our operations. You will develop the leisure time activities with a focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and meaningful learning environment. The role involves collaborating with colleagues during school days and leisure time. You will be part of a work team and part of the class team during school hours. The focus of your assignment is to create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the students' social development, health, participation, and well-being.
The working hours at the leisure time centre are currently scheduled between 06:00-18:00, including opening and closing duties. We welcome you who, together with an engaged team, want to make a difference for our students.
Examples of tasks:
- plan, implement, and develop leisure time activities according to existing guidelines
- participate and identify opportunities to develop the pedagogical work in the school's operations
- use methods and approaches that lead to increased goal achievement
- support students' social development and upbringing
- create a good environment for learning
- stay updated on current research within your area of operation
- be familiar with and follow the laws, policies, and routines applicable to the operation
- work and document in the existing operational systems
About the workplace
Tegnérskolan is located next to Tegnérlunden in the Väster district of Örebro. Approximately 200 students from preschool class to grade 3 attend the school. The school has two parallel classes in each grade. Approximately 25 educators work at the school. Within the Preschool and Primary School Administration, approximately 4,530 employees work. We meet young people in Örebro from their first day in preschool to their last day in primary school.

Qualifications
As a Leisure Time Centre Teacher with us, it is important that you are a secure and stable person and have an easy time collaborating. You listen and communicate, contributing to a calm and safe school environment. You communicate clearly, ensure that messages are received, and follow up. You master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate with students, guardians, and other staff, and can document what the operation requires.
As a Leisure Time Centre Teacher, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and how you can best convey and adapt a message in your teaching based on your students' prerequisites. We also see that you have an easy time relating and making contact with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You understand your role and can take responsibility for planning your work and teaching based on set goals and the students' needs.

Requirements:
- teacher certification with eligibility to teach in leisure time centres, or alternatively, a degree that qualifies for teacher certification
Merits:
