Personal Assistant for Part-Time Role on Södermalm

We are looking for a person who wants a part-time job as a personal assistant for one of our clients living on Södermalm in Stockholm. Our client is an active woman in her 70s with many interests, such as cooking, films, music, animals, spending time outdoors, and socializing with family and friends.

After a stroke, she is weak on one side of her body and needs help with some practical tasks both inside and outside the home. She also has aphasia, which means she communicates using a limited number of words. She understands everything but expresses herself by answering questions with yes or no.

Working Hours and Requirements

Working hours are weekdays from 11:00 to 19:00 and weekends from 10:00 to 20:00. We are looking for someone who can cover shifts when regular staff are sick or on leave. No previous experience in this specific role is required; you will get to know her and her routines during an introduction held at two sessions prior to starting. No prior training in healthcare or care services is necessary.

We prefer candidates who are men or women aged 45+. The most important qualities are that you are calm, positive, patient, and eager to learn new things. You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish.
