We are looking for an engaged and experienced music teacher for Södra Skolan. We are seeking you who, with confidence, sensitivity, and pedagogical experience, wish to teach the school's students music in our F–6 (preschool class to grade 6) operations. The role also includes teaching some grade levels from Aspebodaskolan who come to Södra Skolan for their music education.

Södra Skolan is a centrally located school with approximately 350 students for the upcoming school year, distributed across seven grade levels from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located by Lake Tisken and only a few minutes' walk from the city center. Södra Skolan's music room is well-equipped and has two adjacent group rooms. The school was inaugurated in August 2020.

Our task as staff at the school is to meet each student based on their individual prerequisites. This means meeting all students, whether they need more support in their development or more challenge to reach their best selves.

Responsibilities

You plan and conduct music education that develops students' creativity and collaboration skills. You collaborate closely with other educators and staff to create a safe and educational environment.

In the role of music teacher, you plan lessons, document and follow up on students' development, and collaborate with other educators and staff.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach music for grades F–6.

We are looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility to teach music. You are relationship-building and have an easy time building safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and conclude activities.

Employment Terms

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with a start date in August 2026.
