Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS) is a government agency responsible for providing individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse issues across the country. Working with us at SiS makes your professional life an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work within our organization or what role you hold, you help create life-changing change.
SiS Youth Home Långanäs receives boys who are not subject to compulsory schooling and who have psychosocial problems, criminal behavior, and substance abuse issues.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating life-changing change for vulnerable people? Then the job as a Treatment Pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a Treatment Pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people (boys not subject to compulsory schooling) living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often encounter people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivational work and act as a support in daily life. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations.
