RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach the subject of Mother Tongue Vietnamese and, as needed, provide study guidance in several subjects within the school forms of primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the subject of Mother Tongue Vietnamese
• maintaining continuous contact with guardians regarding the student's development
• school-wide values-based work
• collaborative teamwork
• providing study guidance in Vietnamese as needed
• collaboration with teaching teachers regarding study guidance
• collaboration with the student health team, school management, and external parties
• working and documenting in the operational systems used in the municipality
• analyzing teaching and results
• contributing to the development of teaching to achieve high results

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified Mother Tongue teacher in Vietnamese. In addition to having Vietnamese as your mother tongue, you master the Swedish language so that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and that you can document in writing what the operations require.

You have good knowledge of and a great commitment to mother tongue education and want to motivate and stimulate students to increase their knowledge of the mother tongue. You hold inspiring and varied lessons with a focus on each student's knowledge development.

As a person, you are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning. You are a secure and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating engagement and study calm. By having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach, you contribute to good collaborations and easily build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

To contribute to the Mother Tongue Unit's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and easily be able to handle different digital systems. Experience with Teams and Haldor is meritorious.

To fulfill the role of study guide, you should, in addition to having good knowledge of Swedish, have good insight into the Swedish school system and have good subject knowledge.

Experience in working with language-developing approaches or Swedish as a second language is an advantage.

A driver's license and access to a private car are desirable but not required.
