Job Description

Do you want to help create change for our young people in vulnerable life situations? At Statens institutionsstyrelse, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute to safety, development, and hope for the future every day. We are now looking for an engaged treatment secretary who wants to work closely with clients while being part of a professional team.

As a treatment secretary, your role is to be the hub in the network surrounding the young person's treatment at the institution. You are responsible for ensuring that the young people receive the right interventions in accordance with the social services' mandate. You also draw up treatment plans and follow up on treatment measures. The work is carried out in collaboration with the placing municipality's social services and together with the institution's various specialist functions such as psychologists, nurses, and treatment pedagogues. You are the one who coordinates the treatment work internally and ensures that the treatment work moves forward. The treatment work is based on the young person's individual needs and prerequisites and is heavily based on motivational work. The purpose is to create a life that is understandable, manageable, and meaningful while protecting against risks of relapse into norm-breaking behavior.

The work is varied, which requires flexibility and responsibility. In many respects, this means that you are a structural pillar, are meticulous, and organized. Qualifications

You must have:

• Relevant university education such as a social worker degree or another behavioral science education that SiS considers equivalent and that comprises at least 180 credits.
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious experience includes:

• Experience working in operations focused on care and treatment, such as social services or other relevant operations.
• Experience working with young people.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
