We are now looking for an empathetic and pedagogical teacher for grades 1–6 at Malmaskolan in Malmköping!

HERE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in grades 1–6 at Malmaskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with current regulatory documents. You create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students are given good conditions to develop both academically and socially.

You work with differentiated instruction to meet students at different levels and needs, using varied methods to create accessible and meaningful learning. An important part of the role is to monitor students' knowledge development through formative and summative assessment and provide continuous feedback that supports their progression.

The role includes mentorship, where you have close responsibility for students' well-being, attendance, and development. You collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams, student health services, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for every student.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

• Valid teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 1–6.
• Good knowledge of the curriculum (Lgr22).
• Ability to adapt teaching to students' different needs.
• Good ability to work in a language-developing and inclusive manner.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good digital competence in pedagogical tools.

WE VALUE THE FOLLOWING HIGHLY:

• Experience from previous work and mentorship in primary school.
• Knowledge of special educational adjustments and extra support measures.
• Experience working with language-developing methods (SKUA).
• Experience working in teams and cross-professional collaboration.
• Experience in development work within schools or subject teams.
• Knowledge of reading and writing development methods.

You also have the ability to take responsibility, drive your work independently, and continuously develop your teaching. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Malmaskolan is located in the charming small town of Malmköping, a historic urban area located approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Flen. With its approximately 400 students and Bettna School with approximately 65 students, they form a joint principal's area where collaboration and trust-based relationships form the basis of operations. Here, the broad network and development opportunities of the large principal's area are combined with the small school's proximity and short decision-making paths.
