We are now looking for a communicative and confident teacher for our study workshop at Malmaskolan in Malmköping!

Here will be your tasks

As a teacher in the study workshop, you work to provide targeted support to students in their studies and contribute to strengthening their goal achievement. You teach students individually and in small groups in various subjects, focusing on developing their understanding, study skills, and independence.

You support students in planning their studies, help them structure their schoolwork, and work to create good conditions for learning. An important part of the role is to meet students where they are and adapt the support based on their needs and level.

The role also includes collaborating with subject teachers, mentors, and student health services to contribute to a holistic view of the student's study situation. You may also work on identifying knowledge gaps and providing feedback that strengthens the student's progression.

Documentation and follow-up of students' development may be included, as well as contributing to the development of the study workshop's methods and pedagogical approach.

For this role, you are required to:

• Be a certified teacher.
• Have experience teaching in primary and/or upper secondary school.
• Have a good ability to adapt teaching and support based on individual needs.
• Have experience working with formative assessment and pedagogical guidance.
• Have good digital competence and familiarity with using digital learning tools.
• Have very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Experience working in a study workshop, resource center, or similar support service.
• Experience with special needs education or extra adjustments.
• Familiarity working with students in need of special support.
• Knowledge of and experience with language-developing methods.
• Experience collaborating with student health services and various professions in schools.
• Subject competence in multiple subjects.

You also have the ability to see the whole picture regarding the student's study situation and take responsibility for contributing to their progression over time. Malmaskolan is located in the charming small town of Malmköping, a historic urban area located approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Flen. With its approximately 400 students and Bettna School with approximately 65 students, they form a joint principal area together where collaboration and trusting relationships form the foundation of the operations. Here, the broad network and development opportunities of the large principal area are combined with the small school's proximity and short decision-making paths.
