About the Department

The Adult Psychiatry service in Örnsköldsvik consists of two clinics and a specialist psychiatric nursing team. The clinics have a general psychiatric focus and are aimed at individuals over 18 years of age who require psychiatric care at a specialist level. The clinics are centrally located in Örnsköldsvik. A total of around 40 therapists from various professions work at the clinics, and we practice team psychiatry. We see patients with a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on assessment/diagnosis and evidence-based treatment, where we can offer a wide range of treatment options. We are now looking for a Medical Secretary to join our team in Örnsköldsvik.

As a medical secretary with us, you will become part of an engaged team of secretaries. You provide administrative support to therapists and contribute your professional expertise where needed. We see you actively contributing to a positive and professional work environment. The role involves personal responsibility and good opportunities for development based on interest and experience. Additional tasks may arise as the work evolves and changes. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction, support, and the prerequisites to gradually get into the work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as agreed.

Responsibilities

As a medical secretary within Adult Psychiatry in Örnsköldsvik, you will among other things work with:

• Medical record documentation
• Documentation from team and referral conferences
• Scheduling
• Ordering goods and invoice handling may potentially be included

The medical secretaries also staff our reception, and reception duties include among other things:

• Registration and billing of visits
• Handling of mail and referrals as well as handling of cases in Messenger
• Handling telephone calls via the reception

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as a medical secretary
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you:

• Have previous experience working as a medical secretary
