The Individual and Family Care department in Värnamo Municipality is part of the Citizen Administration, where we work within various types of authority exercises, outpatient care, residential care for youth (HVB), as well as labor market, integration, and leisure activities.
In the Work and Sectors section, 12 social secretaries, 11 coordinators, 2 social secretaries working with domestic violence, 2 group leaders, and 1 unit manager work together. We are looking for you who are interested in working with social assistance and, together with the coordinators, working to help our clients achieve self-sufficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Working with social assistance means that you work in a team with coordinators. You actively work to ensure that those seeking social assistance achieve self-sufficiency. The work also involves qualified investigative work characterized by good treatment, well-founded decisions, and high legal security, as well as conducting active follow-up work in cases. The role also includes giving advice and support to residents, as well as having close cooperation with internal and external partners.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another equivalent higher education degree. Experience within the field is meritorious.
We believe that you, as an applicant, have knowledge of and interest in financial assistance and social work. You communicate clearly and have good collaboration skills. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Conditions
A driver's license is required.

Our administration is responsible for issues within individual and family care, integration, leisure activities, and labor market measures. We work with preventive measures, investigations for children and young people, family law and foster homes, early interventions for children and young people, adult support, financial assistance, as well as administration and service.
