Are you looking for a crazy fun job where you stay on through the autumn?

We are looking for you who are a natural leader, engaged, responsible, creative, and someone who drives things forward. High energy & cheerful disposition!

This is not a regular assistant assignment!

The child needs help with everything in their daily life. But you are not there to do everything for them; you are there to teach the child to do everything themselves.

A large part of the assignment also involves continuous leadership. The focus is on strengthening the child's knowledge in areas such as reading, writing, mathematics, and practical skills. We are therefore looking for you who are open enough to build personal insight into this specific child, and to build a wonderful relationship where the child feels happy, seen, and understood.

Safety is a central part of the role. You need to have good observational skills, be able to analyze situations quickly, and stay one step ahead to act immediately, without limiting the child's curiosity or development. You understand the importance of supporting the child towards independence instead of creating passivity. The role requires a high sense of responsibility, good multitasking ability, and zero tendencies towards comfort or passivity.

When you are on duty, you need to be able to take full responsibility for everything concerning the child, even when the pace is high and many things are happening simultaneously.

It is an advantage if you do not have experience in assistance, as this is a unique assignment – you will receive on-site training. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and personality.

Working hours and employment:

The form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts".

We offer positions at:

  • 75–100 %

  • 50–75 %

  • Fixed days and times during the week

The work is either divided into morning and day or afternoon & evening, primarily on weekdays, within the hours of 07:00–22:00. It is also possible to work longer shifts, fewer days a week. The schedule and degree of employment are planned together with the supervisor.

Education & introduction takes place during the summer as agreed. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Being employed at Humana

As a personal assistant, you work within the framework of LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons) and provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance. Every client is unique, and the tasks vary depending on the client's needs. In the role, you safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making daily life function safely and smoothly.

To start an employment with Humana, you need to be able to present a valid ID document as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
