Rinmangymnasiet is centrally located in Eskilstuna and has approximately 930 students. The school offers education in natural sciences, technology, and service. It also includes a special needs upper secondary school and resource units for upper secondary education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a subject teacher for the Restaurant and Food Programme (RL), you teach core subjects with a focus on serving and service. Part of the teaching takes place in the evenings.

You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the national curriculum and subject plans. You work closely with both students and colleagues, and mentorship is included in the role.

The team consists of 10 people, including 6 subject teachers. Together, you collaborate closely on student development and learning.

You plan and follow up on students' work-based learning (APL) together with supervisors at workplaces. You are responsible for linking practical learning to the programme's subject goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in restaurant operations, primarily in serving and service. You must have a teaching license with eligibility to teach.

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are proficient in IT and feel confident using digital tools in your work.

Experience teaching according to the upper secondary school curriculum is meritorious. Experience working with young people is also considered an advantage.

Your personal qualities are important to us. You are a confident and engaged adult who enjoys building good relationships with young people. You believe in students' abilities and help them develop. You are structured and can independently plan and follow up on your work.
