About the position

In the role of teacher for the leisure-time center with us, you will be part of a team with colleagues, and the work takes place in grade-based work groups from a full-day perspective where collaboration is important. You are responsible for teaching in the leisure-time center. During the school day, you collaborate with the school, including resource time/teaching in the classroom. In your daily work, you focus heavily on our students' safety, influence, and participation. Working hours at the leisure-time center are currently scheduled between 05:50-17:45, where opening or closing duties may be included in the position.

Examples of duties:

• teaching in the leisure-time center and in the classroom during the school day
• develop, plan, implement, document, and follow up on activities adapted to both individual students and group needs
• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching within the leisure-time center
• use methods and approaches that lead to increased goal achievement
• support students' social development and upbringing
• create a good environment for learning
• keep yourself updated on current research within your area of operation
• know and follow the organization's applicable laws, policies, and routines
• work and document in the operational systems available

About the workplace

Tybblelundsskolan is located southeast of Örebro city center, near Örebro University and next to Tybblelundshallen. It is a three-track primary school for students from preschool class to grade 6. Currently, we have approximately 500 students and about 70 staff members. In each grade, a work group works closely with the students on teaching and leisure activities. Qualifications

As a teacher for the leisure-time center, it is important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate, and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. You should also have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and prerequisites. You are secure and independent in your work and find it easy to collaborate with educators, student health services, and the principal. You have the ability to take individual responsibility for and structure your tasks. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate with students and other staff, and that you can document in writing what the operation requires.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teaching license with eligibility to teach in the leisure-time center, or alternatively a qualification-granting degree that entitles you to a teaching license

Merits:

• previous experience working as a teacher in the leisure-time center
• training in guiding interaction ICDP
• experience working with picture support
