Conversation Therapist for Iris Women's Unit Ryfors

We are looking for a conversation therapist for Iris Women's Unit Ryfors – a specialized treatment unit for women with comorbidities involving addiction and mental illness, with a particular focus on trauma and PTSD.
Here, you will work in a context where knowledge, care, and responsibility go hand in hand. You will become part of an experienced team that meets each individual with presence, structure, and a long-term perspective on change.
About the role
As a conversation therapist at Iris Ryfors, you will provide treatment both individually and in groups. The work takes place close to colleagues in a team where collaboration, shared responsibility, and trust are fundamental to how we organize our daily lives.
The role primarily involves:
- conducting conversation therapy individually and in groups
- contributing to the planning, follow-up, and documentation of treatment interventions
- participating in assessments and treatment planning
Additionally, the role includes:
- ongoing collaboration with the commissioning authority
- risk assessments and matching work
- documentation and reporting according to current requirements
We work in a team-based manner with a holistic view where every profession is important. Responsibility is shared, and issues are handled together.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- relevant higher education, for example as a psychologist, social worker, or nurse, or other equivalent education with a behavioral science focus
- experience in treatment work
- good ability to create safety, structure, and a stable therapeutic relationship
It is meritorious if you have:
- CBT Step 1
- advanced training in trauma, for example TMO, EMDR, or PE
- experience working with comorbidities, addiction, and/or domestic violence
As a person, you are stable, sensitive, and engaged. You enjoy taking personal responsibility but also value collegial dialogue and shared learning. We appreciate that you contribute both professionalism and human presence in your interactions with others.
About Iris Ryfors
Iris Ryfors is a treatment unit with 13 places for women with comorbidities involving addiction and mental illness. The operation has a clear focus on trauma-related issues and PTSD and works from a trauma-informed, integrated care model where relationship, structure, and collaboration are key components.
The unit is located in quiet, nature-surrounded surroundings just outside Mullsjö, which contributes to an environment that promotes recovery and stability.
