Personal Assistant Wanted for a Cheerful and Brave Girl

We are now looking for a secure, playful, and responsible personal assistant for our daughter who starts school this autumn. She has a visual impairment and is a fantastic girl with a strong personality, humor, and drive. She needs support in her daily life both at home and after school during leisure activities. The work involves helping her with daily routines, medical care, and supporting her development and independence. You will become an important person in her life and a part of our family's daily life.

About the Job

Our daughter requires some medical care, including tube feeding and respiratory support. Therefore, you need to be calm, meticulous, and able to act confidently in various situations. As parents, we are responsible for preparing medications, and you will of course receive a thorough introduction and training regarding all routines. An important part of the job is also to train and activate her based on her daily condition and development. We are looking for someone who enjoys playing, motivating, and encouraging children to try new things and become more independent in daily life, for example, when dressing and undressing.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, responsible, and perceptive
• Retains a childlike spirit and enjoys play and activity
• Can communicate clearly
• Has the ability to remain calm in acute situations
• Is flexible and cooperative
• Has a driver's license (a requirement for the position)
• Preferably has experience in personal assistance or working with children, but personal suitability is most important
• Has horse riding experience (a big plus)

Important to Know

During certain periods, there is a need for continuous supervision regarding breathing and care. In some situations, you need to be able to act quickly and follow clear routines together with us, the parents, and healthcare professionals. You will never be left alone without a proper introduction, and we are always nearby for support and questions.

About the Position

The extent of the position and working hours can be discussed. We are looking for someone who wants to work part-time, with the possibility of a larger position.
