About the Role

Patients arrive at the oncology clinic and day-care unit when they have received their cancer diagnosis, to decide on oncological treatment; chemotherapy, other medical oncological treatment or radiotherapy. Follow-up of oncological treatment also takes place here. At the day-care unit, located adjacent to the clinic, patients receive chemotherapy or other medical oncological treatment. Telephone advice and emergency services are also available at the clinic.

Currently, there are four medical secretaries at our oncology clinic, and we are looking for a colleague! The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start, subject to agreement.

Responsibilities

We work in various healthcare systems: Cosmic, MOSAIQ, and Skvader. We also work in the reception at the Oncology Centre, where we receive patients and serve doctors and other staff. The work involves varied administrative tasks including but not limited to:

• Mail handling
• Dictation/medical record writing
• Diagnosis registration
• Tele-Q (telephone triage)

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as a medical secretary
• Have at least 1 year of work experience as a medical secretary
• Have experience working in healthcare systems such as Cosmic, MOSAIQ and/or Skvader
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience in cash handling and/or reception
• Have experience in SVF coordinator work
