The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home help and health care at home, individual and family care (IFO), and care and nursing homes. IFO is responsible for the following operations: support for children, young people, and their families, support for adults, social assistance/financial aid, as well as labor market measures and reception of newly arrived immigrants.

We are now looking for employees for our IFO operation in the area of children and young people. Here you will be part of an engaged team that continues to develop Ulricehamn's social services. In our operations, we use a systemic approach, which we have done for over 10 years. This means, among other things, a more humane way of treating both employees and users. Job Responsibilities

Working as a social secretary with children and young people is a varied and exciting job where you get the opportunity to be part of creating a change process and making a difference for children and young people. You are responsible for investigating reports and applications, making decisions, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). The target group is children and young people aged 0–21. In your assignment, you work with assessments, decisions, and considerations where the case handling is based on systemic theoretical assumptions. Collaboration occurs continuously with schools, Child Health Centers (BVC), police, and others. Your case handling is based on BBIC in the Treserva operation system. We focus heavily on children's participation in care and are constantly working to highlight children's voices.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker or have another relevant degree at least at the basic level of higher education. It is meritorious if you have experience of similar tasks and if you have knowledge of systems theory. In the work, it is important that you can express yourself well in speech and writing, and that you adapt your communication to the situation and target group.

As a person, you are secure and maintain calm in stressful situations, are patient, and focus on the right things. You can adapt to changed circumstances, are good at collaborating with others, and have the ability to work independently. You show good judgment and a good view of humanity with respectful treatment. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. Good computer skills and a B driving license are requirements for the position.
