Job Responsibilities

Aside from your burning interest in your subjects, we are looking for someone who wants to develop as a teacher and, together with us, continue the developmental journey that KTC is on. KTC is a certified Technical College upper secondary school, and maintaining high quality is central to us.

Your tasks will consist of teaching and guiding students in biology and mathematics. Natural science may also be included. You are responsible for the students' learning and development through teaching and support. You do this by basing your approach on each student's specific knowledge and prerequisites.

Your role as a teacher also includes standard teacher duties such as mentorship, program-wide activities, planning, evaluation, and grading. We work closely together on student issues and school development. You work with digital tools.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified upper secondary teacher in chemistry and biology. In the second hand, education and competence considered equivalent. Previous teaching experience at the upper secondary level is meritorious. To succeed in the role, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, as well as good digital competence that you use as a natural support in teaching and documentation.

As a person, you are proactive, initiate activities, and achieve desired results. You have the ability to clearly motivate and create understanding for the organization's activities and goals. You are flexible and adapt your working methods based on changed prerequisites, contributing to development through a solution-oriented and non-hierarchical approach. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and build good relationships through an attentive and constructive attitude.
