For the autumn term 2026, Nyhemsskolan needs to recruit a preschool to grade 3 teacher for the preschool class.

As a teacher at Nyhemsskolan in Katrineholm, you will be a mentor in a preschool class together with a teaching colleague. You will belong to a work team with three other mentor colleagues, special education teachers, and student counselors. You will collaborate with the school's student health team and other colleagues in the work group for grades preschool to 3.

Job Responsibilities

You lead your students in the classroom with clarity in your communication, goals, and results. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in the preschool class. You are responsible for assessing students' overall learning in teaching, value-based work, and social competencies, as well as the documentation of this.

You are responsible for following up on students' results, analyzing them, and taking measures to improve results. Furthermore, together with other staff, you drive an operation that helps students become safe, creative, and curious.

Your assignment includes mentorship in the preschool class. In your role as a mentor, you have a specific responsibility for a group of students, through which you get the opportunity to follow their knowledge development and personal maturity more closely. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated about the student's progress through, among other things, regular development talks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a primary school teacher with qualifications for teaching in grades preschool to 3. Previous experience working in preschool classes is meritorious. If you have qualifications in Swedish as a second language and experience with language-developing working methods, this is also meritorious.
