The Child and Education Committee's areas of operation include preschool, pedagogical care, primary school with after-school care, adapted primary and upper secondary school, upper secondary school, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI)/Adult Education, and student health services. Job Description

We are looking for an engaged teacher for grade 4 with qualifications in Swedish, English, and Mathematics, as well as teaching within the Natural Science subjects. You will be a mentor in a class together with a resource teacher and teach based on your qualifications, preferably in your own class. You will work in a work team with three parallel classes and follow the student group from grade 4 to 6.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, teaching, assessment, and follow-up of students' knowledge development, and you contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment. You collaborate closely with colleagues, student health services, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for students' development and learning.

The work team includes two additional certified teachers and a resource teacher who provide support based on the team's priorities and current intervention periods, both at the group and individual level in various subjects. Each class also has its own resource teacher who supports students during practical subjects, transitions between lessons, breaks, and lunch, as well as when needed in theoretical subjects.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are/has:

• A certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish, English, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences for grades 4-6.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good ability to use IT/digital tools as support in work/teaching.

It is an advantage if you have qualifications in Swedish as a second language for grades 4-6 or have experience working with extra adaptations and accessible learning environments.

You have good collaboration skills and thrive working closely with colleagues in a work team where you jointly take responsibility for the student group. You are structured and flexible and have the ability to adapt teaching to students' different needs. We value that you are relationship-building, solution-focused, and have an inclusive approach.

You must also be able to create study quietness and a safe learning environment while motivating and inspiring students to curiosity and development.
