We are currently looking for a senior and a junior Program Controller who want to take on a unique and results-oriented assignment together. As part of our client's major transformation journey in Stockholm, you will become the hub for financial value steering across three major tech initiatives. A perfect opportunity for you who want to take on significant responsibility and work closely with the business leadership.
About the role
On behalf of our client – a large and well-known actor in a complex, regulated industry – we are now looking for two Program Controllers (one senior and one junior/intermediate) who will form an autonomous and driven delivery team.
The client is currently running three parallel, strategic multi-million programs within Data & AI, Digital Channels, and CRM. The purpose is to build the future digital customer experience and business capability. As a Program Controller, you step right into the heat to establish and operationally drive financial steering, value steering, and impact realization across these three major initiatives.
Responsibilities
Together as a team, you take overall responsibility for program controlling. This means a mix of strategic packaging and operational "hands-on" work:
- Implement financial steering models, budgeting, forecasts, and investment tracking based on existing frameworks.
- Drive and further develop Business Cases, KPI steering, and models for financial impact realization.
- Be a close decision support and financial partner to program managers, program owners, as well as functions within Business Design and Finance.
- Produce high-quality, visual decision support materials and reports for steering groups and corporate leadership.
- Ensure careful documentation and knowledge transfer, as the client's long-term goal is to phase in internal resources.
Who are you?
We are looking for two different profiles for this team, but common to both is a strong personal drive, a non-hierarchical attitude, and very good analytical skills.
Profile 1: Senior Program/Business Controller
- Several years of experience in project and program controlling within larger transformation programs in complex organizations.
- Deep interest in and experience with Business Cases, value steering, and KPI tracking.
- Pedagogical and communicative – you can translate complex financial data into strategic insights.
Profile 2: Junior/Intermediate Controller
- A few years of experience in financial tracking, project controlling, or Business Controlling.
- Structured, quick learner, and comfortable working operationally with numbers and templates.
- Motivated by working in a team and wants to develop in a complex, developmental environment.
