About the role
We are currently recruiting several junior lawyers for consultancy assignments at the Inspectorate of Care and Support (IVO) located in Jönköping. The main responsibilities include handling secrecy assessments of documents related to requests for access to public records, supporting managers and employees with legal matters, and conducting minor legal investigations within the field.
The position includes the following tasks:
- Processing cases regarding disclosure within private operations
- Processing cases regarding the handling of medical record archives
- Processing appeals against disclosure decisions
- Other tasks may occur
Assignment period and scope
The assignment is a consultancy role starting in June, expected to last for 5 months, with the possibility of extension. The scope is full-time (100%) and the work is performed on the authority's premises.
Requirements for the position:
- Law degree or equivalent education
- At least one (1) year of experience as a lawyer
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Ability to quickly analyze and perform legally secure secrecy assessments
- Good knowledge of: The Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Freedom of the Press Act (TF), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to disclosure, as well as the Administrative Procedure Act
- Ability to provide references with contact details that can verify the required competence and experience

As a consultant with legal competence, you are service-oriented, flexible, solution-focused, and approachable. In your role, you need to be a quick learner, responsible, possess good self-leadership skills, and be efficient with a structured work approach.
About the Inspectorate of Care and Support (IVO):
IVO is an authority under the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, primarily responsible for supervision and licensing within healthcare, social services, and activities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons. The authority is also responsible for processing complaints according to the Patient Safety Act. The authority has approximately 800 employees. Supervision work is conducted at six supervision departments across the country.
To ensure a competence-based recruitment process, we may use psychometric tests. Selection is ongoing, with the final application deadline being 2026-06-03.
