We are a lower secondary school with approximately 550 students, located within walking distance from the train station.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will teach Mathematics, Science, and Technology for grades 7-9. You will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22). With creativity and commitment, you create teaching that is inclusive, clear, and inspiring. You adapt the teaching to the students' different needs and actively work to motivate and engage them. The position also includes being a homeroom teacher.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach Mathematics, Science, and Technology for grades 7-9. We also value experience in teaching these subjects based on LGR22 through work or student teaching (VFU).

You have strong subject knowledge and the ability to pedagogically convey this in the classroom. You understand that students have different prerequisites and can adapt your teaching accordingly. You create engagement in the classroom and encourage students to be curious and eager to develop. You are communicative and have an easy time building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
