At Norlandia Preschools, we are looking for you who want to work as a casual substitute teacher on an as-needed basis at our two preschools, Timglaset and Vintergatan, in Växjö. Within the preschool, you will have a fun and varied job where you can make a difference in the children's daily lives. We are primarily looking for you who have a childcare education or are studying a pedagogical education, such as preschool teacher or educator.

Working as a casual substitute with us

We are looking for you who are responsible, engaged, and have all children in focus. Naturally, you thrive in a playful environment. With us, you become part of the work team that works together based on the preschool curriculum, where you will experience different working methods as well as Norlandia's concepts: food with taste, Norlandiaskuttet, and GoGreen. For us, daily physical activity is a must for the children but also for you as an adult, where you actively participate in Norlandiaskuttet together with children and colleagues.

The tasks vary, but close contact with children, educators, and guardians permeates the assignment. When working as a casual substitute, you are expected to be available at short notice, even if you receive a booking from us early in the morning. As a casual substitute, you drop right into the operations, so it is assumed that you are flexible and can quickly get up to speed with different routines.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

• You speak Swedish fluently and handle written text well.
• You are flexible and solution-focused, seeing opportunities instead of difficulties.
• You are cheerful and accommodating, with a focus on the best interests of all children.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Other information

• Employment based on need on a FRAMEWORK agreement/casual employment.
• Scope: As needed.
• Working hours: Based on need, 06:00–18:30.
• Start date: Immediately as needed.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required upon employment.
