Your new job

In collaboration with other school staff, you will carry out health-promoting, preventive, and remedial measures at the organizational, group, and individual levels. You are a driving force in safety work and the fight against bullying and discrimination. As a school counselor, you are part of a network with your fellow counselors. You have regular supervision and also participate together with other colleagues in the central Child and Student Health Service.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a social worker (socionom)
• has proficiency in the Swedish language
• has experience working with young people

Merits

We prefer that you have:

• A driver's license (Category B)
• Experience working in schools and the ability to contribute to professionalism based on an understanding of the school's mission.
• Good insight into the school's governing documents, the Social Services Act, and other relevant laws
• Knowledge of other departments and support functions for children and families

Your workplace

As a school counselor, you belong to the central Child and Student Health Service in Markaryd. Counselors work at one or more school units based on the needs of the operations. The current position will be at Huneskolan grades 7-9, and as a counselor, you will be part of the school's student health team, which meets once a week.
