We are now looking for a teacher in Science and Technology (NO and Teknik) at Ellen Key School.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching for students in grades 7–9 in Natural Sciences and Technology, as well as performing class mentoring together with your fellow mentor. You will lead your own teaching and collaborate closely with other educators in the organization.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. Your responsibility includes building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You serve as an adult role model for all students at the school.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher education and teacher certification in Natural Sciences and Technology for grades 7–9. To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in this role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and of different prerequisites for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the organization.

Other information

The position is subject to background checks. Applicants must provide a certificate of good conduct from the police before employment begins.
