Do you want to help develop the next generation of hockey players? Helsingborgs Hockey Club is looking for a dedicated Youth Coordinator who is truly passionate about working with children and young people and wants to create an environment where they can grow, develop, and thrive.

About the Role

As Youth Coordinator, you have overall responsibility for leading, coordinating, and developing the club's youth activities for both boys and girls. You work closely with the day-to-day operations and support coaches and leaders in creating a safe, developmental, and high-quality training environment.

We operate based on a clear 100–100 model, where the goal is to welcome 100 new players in each age group and create an environment that ensures as many as possible stay and develop all the way into adulthood.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Ensure and develop the youth activities' educational model, playing philosophy, and value base.
• Support and develop coaches in both sporting and organizational matters.
• Ensure quality in training and development across all youth age groups.
• Drive the development of girls' and women's activities as well as boys' activities.
• Be responsible for the recruitment, education, and mentoring of leaders.
• Coordinate operations and monitor that guidelines are followed.
• Act as a contact point for federations and participate in the sports group's work.

Operational Work

You are a visible and present part of the operations, with regular attendance at training sessions and within team environments. You provide practical support to coaches and actively contribute to player development in daily life.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in hockey activities, preferably in a leading or developmental role.
• Has a strong commitment to children and young people and their development.
• Is a secure leader who builds trust and engagement among players and leaders.
• Is structured, communicative, and good at collaborating.
• Wants to be involved in developing both operations and people.

Scope

The position is full-time and involves active and present work within the operations, focusing on quality in everyday life through practical work, planning, and follow-up.
